YAW AMOAH-OWUSU is a seasoned legal practitioner with decades of experience in Ghana.
He is an alumnus of the University of Ghana: where he obtained a degree in Political Science and Philosophy in 1978, and a Masters Degree in Public Administration in 2000 from the University of Ghana Business School: Ghana Institute of Public Administration in 1981 and also an alumni of the Ghana School of Law.
He has worked at the Ghana Education Service
(1972- 1979); the Ghana Civil Service in the former Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare (1979---1982) and worked for eighteen years with the Judicial Service of Ghana as a Regional Administrative Officer and later as Chief Registrar (Administration) until March, 2004.
He was a lecturer in Company
LAW and Business Law at Wisconsin International University College, Ghana from March, 2004 to date. He has been the Head of Business Studies Department for several years and for three years the Acting
Dean of the Wisconsin
International University College Business
School (Faculty of Business Studies), until June, 2014.
Originally, a trained teacher, he branched into
Administration (also Management) Law. He is currently working on a book dealing with Inertia in the Administration of Justice in Ghana.
